Former “Israeli” Chief of staff Gadi Eisenkot attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying that “Israel is at its lowest point since its founding” citing “Israel’s” inability to yet achieve any of its war aims.

In a joint press conference with National Unity Party head Benny Gantz, Eisenkot also said the Iranian threat has been ignored while Netanyahu has been in office as Prime Minister.

The pair also blasted Netanyahu’s firm stance on keeping control of the Philadelphi Corridor, with Eisenkot saying that Netanyahu is “delegitimizing” Defense Minister Yoav Gallan and “Israeli” army officers in his statements regarding control of the Gaza-Egypt border.
